Discovery
Learners encounter wildlife, nature and new environments — turning textbook lessons into real-world understanding.
School Life
At Eagle Wings Lighthouse Academy, we believe some of the best learning happens outside the classroom — on school trips, on the sports field, during Cultural Day and through every shared experience that builds confidence and friendship.
School trip · August 2026
Our learners and staff visited Mamba Village in Mombasa — one of East Africa's largest crocodile farms — followed by an amusement park stop. From holding a real crocodile to posing by carnival rides, it was a day full of discovery, laughter and memories.
Scouts rally
Our scouts and guides represent Eagle Wings Lighthouse Academy at inter-school rallies — marching in formation, performing drills and standing tall alongside other schools from across Mombasa.
Classroom in action
From group study to engaged lessons, our classrooms are spaces where curiosity is nurtured and every learner is encouraged to participate.
Playground
Our kindergarten pupils enjoy a safe, joyful playground with tire swings, climbing frames and space to run — because play is where the best early learning happens.
Why we do it
Learners encounter wildlife, nature and new environments — turning textbook lessons into real-world understanding.
Trying new things — like holding a crocodile — builds courage and self-belief that carries back into the classroom.
Shared experiences outside school strengthen bonds between learners and staff, creating a true community.
More to explore
Beyond school trips, our learners enjoy a rich calendar of activities throughout the year.
